English as a Second Language? Communication Booklet

I received many calls from all over the east coast during the last few months from people who are using the Point To Communicate booklets with those who are ill and cannot communicate because English is their second language. After doing some research I found that as a person gets older or is under great stress he/she will revert to their mother tongue. I am amazed at how the Point To Communicate booklets are being used in so many different ways. I invite you to tell me about your experiences using the Point To Communicate booklets.

Reaching out to the Hearing Impaired

I am receiving a lot of requests for the Point To Communicate booklets for people of all ages who are hearing impaired. The stories of how the booklets are being used by the family member with the one who is hearing impaired are heartbreaking. One woman bought a booklet for her husband. She said he was pretty stubborn at first and didn't want to use it. She, clever woman, began to use the booklet to communicate with him rather then he using it with her. Once he saw how simple and effective it was, he began to use it not just with her but with others too. She called me with tears of gratitude as he had not communicated in three months since his hearing loss. Another family has a hearing impaired child who uses the booklets in the home and at the hospital when undergoing tests. One mom called to purchase another booklet so she would have one in the car to loan to the teacher for her son while he was attending that school. This is exciting to see how the booklets are fulfilling the needs and making a positive impact on people's lives.

State by State

Hello,
It's a beautiful day here in the Green Mountains of Vermont. I've received inquiries and sales from Louisianna, Ohio, Michigan, and the UK, to name a few. I am most excited to see the booklets help so many people not just in New England but all over the country and outside of the U.S.
For those of you who have purchased, I invite you to tell me about your experience with the Point To Communicate booklets. Thanks.

On Track

Hello folks. I've been busy last month with sales going out to Kentucky and Georgia, to name a few. Plus four graduations, family visits, and general celebration time. The link to my video has been creating lots of interest from many different venues like the hard of hearing folks. They are happy to have something to help them until they can learn sign language but they find it useful for those who don't know sign.

Other interests are coming from families who's loved one is coming home from the hospital. As I receive phone calls of gratitude, I can't help but tear up at each story of helplessness that turns to happiness.

One of my favorite was a phone call from a man who purchased two booklets for his Mom. One was for her time in the hospital and the other was for home use. She had a stroke and was unable to speak. There is hope that she will regain her speech but her son was so grateful to find the Point To Communicate booklets because he has a very special relationship with his Mom and he just couldn't wait till he had the booklets so she could communicate with him. When he received them, he called me to say how much she liked the booklets and to say, again, thank you.
